According to the Telegraph newspaper,Over the coming days, family members of the 66 people killed aboard EgyptAir Flight MS804 will be asked to provide DNA samples to help identify their loved ones.

So far only “small pieces” of human remains have been found, making the the DNA identification process all the more important, said Sherif Fathy, Egypt’s civil aviation minister.

“The logical explanation is that an explosion brought it down,” a morgue official said on Monday.
The newspaper added that around 23 bags of body parts have arrived so far at the dreary concrete morgue in Zeinhom, a district in central Cairo set just back from the River Nile.
